Prior to joining JGI, he spent time as a faculty member at the University of Rhode Island, as a Senior Scientist at Warp Drive Bio, and as a bioinformatics HPC consultant with NERSC.

Dr. Udwary co-hosts JGI’s Natural Prodcast podcast, a “fireside chat”-style podcast about natural products and the science and scientists of secondary metabolism.
