w Brodie FICUS FY20_Blodgett Soil_credit Caitlin Hicks Pries

Deep soil warming experiment at the University of California, Blodgett Forest Research Station, located in Georgetown, CA, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Figure shows paired control (ambient temperature) and warmed (ambient +4oC) plots. Soil warming is achieved through heating cables to a depth of 1m below surface and has been ongoing for approximately 5 years.
